Happy Thursday, one and all!
I came across this interesting read: The origin of Birthday cards and instantly wanted to share it with ya! The tradition of exchanging greeting cards dates as far back as the Egyptians. However, birthday greeting cards first came into existence a little over 100 years ago in England =)
Now, want to know the original reason for throwing a real birthday party? It originated in the middle ages as a means to ward off evil spirits by bringing family and friends together to wish the celebrant well in the coming year.
OK, last one, promise you! The origin of the birthday song: “Happy Birthday to You” a.k.a. “The Birthday Song” was written by sisters - Mildred & Patti Hill. Little did they know that they would create what the Guinness Book of World Records has called “the most popular song ever.”
Anyhow coming straight to some serious sharing, enjoy the WLBV experience for now!
Today, is the BIG day for me as WLBV rolls out the last batch of Birthday greeting collection which is being called ‘cutesy’, ‘fun and fresh’, ‘simple and clean’, ‘whimsical’, ‘innovative’ and ‘happy bright stuff.’ It’s a warm fuzzy feeling to have successfully posted all my designs at the etsy shop. Most of them are available on sale at my esty shop unless it is out of stock! I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your love shown and expressed! I value it all guys..
